Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the third-party service that supplies the result. Concord Residents Directory does not retain its own copy of those searches. If you contact us, we use the content of your message to answer the inquiry.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting services create ordinary logs, such as IP address, browser type, page request, and timestamp. We review aggregated information to maintain the service and understand which record topics are being used. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited data supports site operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to county and state portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search services. The policy of the destination controls information submitted after leaving this service, including material sent through a sponsored result.
Who Can Process Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described here. Because Concord Residents Directory has no accounts, it does not keep a visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor supplied information, and we will remove it.
Your Privacy Choices
You may ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal data that we keep. North Carolina does not have a verified comprehensive consumer-data privacy law in the researched sources. The narrower Personal Privacy Protection Act, S.L. 2025-79, protects nonprofit member, supporter, volunteer, and donor lists in specified public-agency circumstances; it is not a universal deletion right. Because we retain very little, we can review our contact mailbox and relevant server logs quickly. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by North Carolina, Cabarrus County, or Concord offices are controlled by their custodians.
Updates to This Policy
We will publish policy changes here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
